This page explains what Fans of Learning collects, why we collect it, and how we keep the site lightweight while we build the project in public.

Fans of Learning is a small learning project by Martin and Erika. When you visit this site, we collect basic, aggregated traffic information so we can understand whether people are visiting and which pages are useful.
If you choose to subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the email address you submit and any related signup information needed to send the newsletter.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to measure page views, referrers, approximate location, browser, operating system, and device type. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to work without third-party cookies and reports aggregated traffic data.
We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors, and we do not intentionally send names, email addresses, tokens, or other sensitive information to analytics.
Our newsletter signup is intended to be handled through beehiiv. If you subscribe, beehiiv helps us store your email address, manage the mailing list, send emails, and process unsubscribe requests.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link included in newsletter emails.
We use site analytics to understand whether the project is reaching people and which pages are worth improving.
We use newsletter data to send updates you asked to receive. We do not sell your personal data.
This site is built with Next.js and hosted on Vercel. Vercel provides hosting and web analytics. beehiiv provides newsletter signup and email delivery when the newsletter is connected.
These providers may process data outside the European Union. We avoid sending unnecessary personal information to these services.
You can avoid newsletter data collection by not subscribing. If you have subscribed, you can unsubscribe from any newsletter email.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data.
